It’s no secret that I love hummingbirds. I’m drawn to them because they are beautiful and fascinating - but they also remind me of myself and the way I choose to live life. Hummingbirds move quickly, always searching, and rarely stay in place. They consume a ton of energy, and frankly it looks exhausting. I was like that for much of my life, living in survival mode. When I see a hummingbird, it reminds me that it’s ok to stop and enjoy the flowers.
