This painting draws its inspiration from the colorful and distinctive packaging of LaCroix, channeling my aspiration to creatively repurpose consumer waste. By integrating actual plastic packaging into the canvas alongside acrylic paint and oil pastel, the piece juxtaposes the vibrant allure of a popular beverage with a critical commentary on the excesses of modern packaging. Through this work, I aim to celebrate the everyday while inviting viewers to reflect on the environmental impact of our consumerist habits.
