This phoenix-like hummingbird captures the essence of breaking free from adversity to embrace a life filled with wonder.

These birds are very personal to me, as someone who survived a childhood of abuse and neglect after losing my parents. The fiery spirit captured in these paintings represents my resolve to break free and thrive, achieving dreams that once seemed unattainable.

As creatures of ceaseless pursuit and rare rest, I see in hummingbirds a reflection of my own journey. This bird, ignited by a fiery flame, not only symbolizes rebirth and renewal but also the power to forge ahead without being weighed down by the past.
